Thank you -- but can someone please explain why this took 4 days to straighten out? I'm sure there were some very good reasons, but it's really hard to understand from our (customer) side what was going on.

And is there anything you can do to prevent this in the future?

Thank You! One other thing, do us all a favor and remove "Stacy's CArds" as website of the day, week , month or whatever.

To give you a little more insight into what happened: over the past few days we've experienced intermittent, massive DDoS attacks. These types of attacks are unfortunately very difficult to defend against. We worked around the clock, trying many different defense strategies, talking to experts in the field, and purchasing new routing hardware, but were still unsuccessful in fully fending off the attacks. Yesterday we purchased and installed an expensive device specifically designed to mitigate the effects from a DDoS attack. Chances are very high that the recent problems are past us and we can continue to provide the reliable service we pride ourselves on at Weebly.

We greatly apologize for the inconvenience that these events of downtime have caused you. We take incidences of downtime very seriously and understand the impact it has on your website's credibility and reputation. Believe me, we are as frustrated as you with the recent events and want to ensure this cannot happen again. We want to sincerely thank you for your support of our service.
