I got a response yesterday morning where I work, when I noticed the problem. Weebly indicated a "work-around" fix was coming... by 5:00pm EST our site was back up... This morning, our site was back down. Perhaps the work-around was temporary as they're trying to fix the problem in it's entirety? (the company I work for has their web site domain registered elsewhere, just wondering if that's a common thread for those of us with "down" sites... or are all of the Weebly sites down?
I think timely updates from a Weebly staffer - every couple of hours or so, on what the status is, would help alleviate a lot of anxiety here... it may be only hand-holding, but it kinda lets us know what to "possibly" expect, i.e. another hour of waiting, two, four, eight, a day or two??? This way we can do (work at) something else, other than clicking on our site every 20 minutes to see if it's up yet...

Very frustrating to see that the "status" comment from weebly hasn't been changed in 21 hours. I want to know if weebly is still trying to fix the latest problem, or have they just given up???? SOME information would be really helpful at this point, especially for those of us who've PAID for this service.
Does anyone know why the video player doesnt work? I am able to add it to the page but am not able to download a file even after clicking "click here to download file". Unfortunately, I have sent several emails since the announcement of this new addition but have not recedived a response. I believe that as a part of being a "pro" user that we are suppose to receive prompt replies to our support questions. Thanks for any info.
I just changed the the "A" record as well, my only concern is that since they had our site working intermittently yesterday, after a "work-around fix," I'm wondering whether or not by changing the "A" record, after yesterdays fix, that it will mess it up even further??? I see that "Supergirl" changed hers, with nothing (usually though it's anywhere from 1/2 an hour to 2 hours for the change to propagate through the net). Guess I'll just have to do what I've been doing........ wait.

kady63, I'm not surprised the video player's not working. Basically, NOTHING has been working with weebly for days now; it started with the DOS attack on Saturday. I'm guessing they're so overwhelmed with complaints about the lack of service in general that I doubt they're going to answer any regular support questions anytime soon (yes I'm a "pro" user too, but that means nothing right now)
A-Record changes:
According to weebly's notice: "If you configured your domain to work with Weebly, update the A-Records on your domain so that they point to 199.34.228.99 instead of 199.32.228.100."
Back up and running as of 7:05pm EST... not sure if that was the "A" change I made, or if everyone is back up, but just thought I'd mention it in case some of you with your domain parked elsewhere from Weebly have not done the update to the new A record, as mentioned in the post above...
OK, I'm back up again. But I've said the same thing for the last 3 nights, too, and by morning my site was gone again. So I'll wait until tomorrow before I believe they've actually fixed the problem.
Back down and this is causing major problems with my business. Can we hear from the owner of weebley?????? I have a feeling we may have contacted a virus.
just woke up to chk and make sure my site was still live. down again 1:04 a.m. gonna start migrating tomorrow. had enough patience with no response for far too

There are a lot of PAYING customes who would like an update on the problem weebley is having. An update on the main weebley home page would be nice. Weebley is making things a lot worse by not responding to people who PAY for your services. PLEASE update YOUR clients on this matter!
Hello Weebly, could you provide a estimation time please? I think we are feeling out of the loop when our sites are down and there is no regular updates. Share some information so we can at least have that. Thanks-hope you succeed in stopping these @#$%^!!!

There are a lot of PAYING customes who would like an update on the problem weebley is having. An update on the main weebley home page would be nice. Weebley is making things a lot worse by not responding to people who PAY for your services. PLEASE update YOUR clients on this matter!
